  • How did you become a Castaway? After admiring the Castaways crew including my cross country coach, Eric Pino, and their amazing work, I wanted to assist and help in any and every way possible to raise funds and awareness for cancer research.

  • Why are you a Castaway? I lost my grandfather and other family members and friends to cancer. I will do anything I can to eliminate the suffering and pain experienced by the patients and families.

  • What is your "essential gear" to be a good Castaway? Love, compassion, resiliency and determination.

  • Tell us about your Family: I am the son of a Columbus and Lourdes graduate who have volunteered for over 30 years at Miami Children's Hospital setting a great example to follow. My brother, uncles, and cousins are all Columbus graduates as well. My grandfather is also a Marist alumnus.

  • Where are you from? Miami, FL

  • Where'd you go to high school? Christopher Columbus High School

  • Where do you work? I have a pressure cleaning business called Miami Mobile Cleaning.

  • Favorite music/artists: I love latin and country music. My favorite artist is Alan Jackson.

  • Favorite movies/genre: I love comedies.

  • Favorite books: Anything educational or funny.

  • Personal Fun Fact: People call me "all in", because when I set my mind to something I will not stop until I exceed my goals.

  • How have I helped carry out the CAC mission of funding cancer research and honoring those who have fought the fight? I will use this mission to raise money in every way possible as it is essential for a cure. I will honor my family members who battled cancer.
