  • Team Role/Function? Operations Coordinator, Pino’s “assistant”

  • How did you become a Castaway? My former cross country coach, OB, and fellow boy scout/family friend Patrick Linfors had been luring me in over the last 20 years.  When I was close enough to the boat, Eric Pino gaffed me!  He asked me to help with a BBQ and the rest is history!

  • Why are you a Castaway? I never got to know my grandmother bc she died in her 50's due to breast cancer. 

  • Outside a kayak/bicycle, what is your "essential" gear? Excel Spreadsheets, google docs, and lots of patience/adult beverages.

  • Conch Republic Navy Rank? Haven’t had the honor of being inducted yet.

  • Favorite Castaways moment: TBD

  • Favorite Castaways quote: "If they don't have fun, they won't come back"

  • Tell us about your family: I grew up in a family of 6 kids (5 sisters).  We were a big Italian Catholic Family....that should explain everything...including my inability to speak using an "inside voice" and the necessity for me to use my hands when talking.

  • Where are you from? Miami, FL (well, now its called Palmetto Bay)

  • Where'd you go to school? Columbus High School for high school and the University of Michigan for College.

  • Where do you work? Lawson Products - Sales (industrial maintenance supplies)

  • Favorite music/artists: Pitbull, Jimmy Buffet, and anything else with an upbeat rhythm.

  • Favorite movies/genre: Don't watch movies...and PLEASE don't try to tell me that NEED to see X movie. Not happening.....you can't talk during movies and I don't like that rule!

  • Favorite books: Any financial, self-help or motivational books.  Also, love John Stossel.

  • Fun facts about you: I have been struck by lightning.

  • How have I helped carry out the CAC mission of funding cancer research and honoring those who have fought the fight? My goal is to help the foundation and any individual Castaway in any way they may need. I view myself as their "assistant". And that's the nice word for it....but I'm more than happy to fill that role.
