Team Role/Function: Founder of the CAC running division. I’ll be running 1 of the 2 legs from Miami to Key West. 85 miles straight.
How did you become a Castaway? Pino was my cross country coach in high school and he still thinks he is so he wants me to do this crazy workout that has me running to Key West. Jk, I actually approached him about the idea cause my idea of “fun” is running 80ish miles in one day.
Why are you a Castaway? To make cancer history and be part of something where I made a difference.
What is your "essential gear" to be a good Castaway? Reliable pair of running shoes, a comfy hat, good sense of humor, and beer like lots of beer

Tell us about your Family: Married to my biggest supporter, Christine. Parents live in Miami and have my two brothers older and younger who live in Colorado and California respectively.

Favorite music/artists: I like a little bit of everything but lately have found mashups are fun to listen to
Favorite movies/genre: I won’t say no to good heist movies (Ocean’s 11/Italian Job), alternate history, and documentaries about the human endeavors
Favorite books: Born to run, The Greatest: The Haile Gebrselassie Story
Personal Fun Fact: I once fell asleep in the porta-potty in the middle of a 24-hour race.
How have I helped carry out the CAC mission of funding cancer research and honoring those who have fought the fight? Spreading the word of the Castaways mission, doing my best to fundraise, and running an unhealthy amount of miles.
